CINEMA 4D XPRESSO SOUND EFFECTOR

Ahh, I think it is because I have that sound file also driving the strength of a random effector on a polyfx. Very interested in learning more about folding effects, if you could put something together sometime or if anyone could point me to existing tuts. Leave a Reply Cancel Reply. Xpresso can be a bit intimidating, It took me a while to grasp all the different nodes and their functions and uses, and i am still learning along with projects. Prev 1 2 Next Page 1 of 2. Ill add in another sound effector and map it only to that. Here’s a quick test that i put together: If you somehow managed to get to color from frequency graph to the light, it will be the same color throughout the animation and won’t change at all. I seem to have a problem, when I use the Xpresso setup you made in your example, I It just changes the color to black, and it doesn’t change, where did you change your parameter for your light color Workaholic? Concerning the origami designs you found, I can really imagine those figures in a real 3D environment, animating from a boring plane to some cool forms. Even when I try to change the colors, where I thought you got your colors, on your project, it didnt change. Thanks man, I’ve been watching tutorials on xpresso for the last few days, so hopefully I wont have these simple questions to much more often. Yes, I did this, did you do any config to the nodes?

Posted April 17, You have to use a sample effector node and get the strength of the sound effector and use that value to drive the color of your light. Posted April 18, Many thanks in advance! I am really glad you find this tutorial useful and I definitely hope to see some at least related outcomes from it!

Lots of good tips in here. Frequency color function works with multiple object, where each is assigned a color from the frequency color based on its position in the frequency graph.

Thanks Joren for summing it all up into such a precise tutorial, you rock man.
